Quick Frozen

The IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) process takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes at a temperature of approximately 40 degrees below zero. After exiting the freezer, the individually frozen product is dipped in a vat of very cold water, which freezes immediately and forms a very thin layer of ice around each individual piece. This is excellent protection against freezer burn during storage. One final Quality Assurance inspection and the product is ready for sale.
